Why Are There No Services?
Our decision to cancel Sunday service on the last Sunday of the year started out years ago as a way to offer our Dream Team (the volunteers who serve at our church each week) time to refresh and re-charge. It has now become a regular part of the rhythm of our church's life.
It not only continues to offer a break in the routine for our Dream Team members, but it also reminds us all that, though attending church is important (we still have services 51 weekends of the year), Christianity is more than going to church. Christianity is following Jesus. Worship isn't just singing songs on Sunday, it's the way we live our lives everyday.

So this Sunday, consider alternative ways you might get to know Jesus more personally. Enjoy an extended time in prayer or reading God's Word. Plan some time to be with your family. Consider receiving communion together with your spouse and children. Maybe worship God by serving someone in need, taking a meal to someone who's hungry, or visit a widow or neighbor who is lonely.
Our weekly worship services will resume Sunday January 5th.
On that day, we'll teach about having a vision and purpose for your life and start our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting!
