THE BENNETT FAMILY'S STORY

Orville, Laura, Ashtyn, Parker, Quentin, Zoey, Nina, Micah, and Malachi

questers since January 2024

Before coming to questCHURCH, we were a part of a church plant for 4 years. The doors closed and we were left with burnout and lots of hurt that needed healing. The first time we visited quest in January 2024 we immediately loved it, but were so hesitant to get to know anyone. We wanted to have a safe place to come and worship Jesus and hear His Word preached, but our walls were up and our hearts were hardened. We found freedom at quest. We continued to show up weekly and trust the Lord with the rest. He has been faithful to give us new friendships, community, time to heal, wise counsel, opportunities to trust people again and opportunities to serve Him! He has healed our hearts and had something new and good for us here at quest! Through IMPACT Summer Camp, our sons’ fire for Jesus were reignited, and one of our daughters was recently baptized.  Our family continues to be refined and we're grateful that quest is a part of that!

Since coming to quest, we’ve been blessed to both hear, AND experience Christ-affirming teaching that clearly and effectively lays out who Jesus wants us to be (and how).
We've seen the Acts church model used to deal with fellow Christians going through trying times with love, and not gossip. It's been cool to see how this has been affecting our kids too. They enjoy coming to church and we feel like they're being equipped to be true followers of Christ while the church is partnering with us in raising them.
